Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw fitness record cause for concern – Injury expert
We’re delighted to welcome injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the injury situation at Leeds United...
Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw is more susceptible to injuries after his recent track record of multiple setbacks, claims Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert believes that he has not had enough game time since his year-and-a-half setback in 2019, which has only aggravated his condition further.
Due to the lack of senior matches played, there has been a fitness deficit which paves the way for injuries to recur in the future.

It also appears that the recent surgery he underwent for his hip has not helped too much.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said, “He had an extended 18+ month absence after injury in 2019.
“Since then, he hasn’t had a good run of games which has led to fitness deficits and high injury risk.
“The concern with his hip injury is he underwent a procedure but it doesn’t sound like it helped much.
“That is always a concern.”
The 31-year-old has seldom been available for the Whites this season, making just two Premier League starts.

He was relatively fitter in the 2021/22 campaign in which he played 22 top-flight games out of which he was named in the starting eleven on 17 occasions.
His current deal runs out at the end of the season, but Leeds hold a unilateral option to extend it by another season.
In other Leeds United, the Whites are now in pole position to seal their first signing under Javi Gracia despite interest from a Premier League rival.
