Rodrigo has every right to quit Leeds United, lucrative summer transfer now on the cards
Leeds United ace Rodrigo has every right to quit Elland Road this summer, with a potentially lucrative transfer on the cards for the talented striker.
The 32-year-old, who joined the Whites from La Liga side Valencia in 2020, has endured a frustrating campaign in many ways.
Individually, an ankle injury has majorly disrupted his season, while as a team, Leeds are once again involved in a nervous relegation battle.

The passionate fans of the club will not want to say goodbye to their star striker anytime soon, given his feats over the years and indeed in the current season.
With 13 goals in all competitions, the Spaniard is the club’s top goalscorer this season, with Luis Sinisterra his nearest competitor on seven, as per BBC Sport.
It highlights just how poor the Whites have been in the final third, with Rodrigo missing plenty of games due to his injury.
But like a handful of his teammates, Rodrigo may just opt for a new challenge this summer, with Salernitana News reporting that the striker could be heading for a lucrative move to either the Gulf or Major League Soccer (MLS).

A move to either region would undoubtedly represent a major improvement on his £100,000-per-week (The Times) deal at Elland Road, while at 32 it could be the perfect move towards a superb retirement plan.
He may even choose to continue playing for a more successful club somewhere in Europe, with Rodrigo potentially not giving up hope of a return to the Spain international setup.
The nation have turned to various forwards of a similar age in recent times in the likes of Joselu (33), Iago Aspas (35) and Alvaro Morata (30), so Rodrigo definitely has a shout of representing his country once more.
Rodrigo has given his all for the Whites over the years, with the club not really living up to their end of the bargain as they continue to struggle towards the bottom end of the Premier League table.
In other Leeds United news, injury expert Ben Dinnery has issued an update on key Whites defender Max Wober ahead of the trip to face Bournemouth on Sunday (30 April).
