MOT View: Predicted Leeds starting XI v Spurs after Bielsa update

Leeds United welcome Spurs to Elland Road in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, as they look to bounce back.

After going six games unbeaten, the Whites disappointingly collapsed to a deserved 2-0 defeat against Brighton last week.

Marcelo Bielsa confirmed his team news on Thursday, with the main update being that Helder Costa is ruled out for the rest of the season.

Illan Meslier will continue in goal, with the young stopper simply undroppable at this moment in time in the Premier League.

The back four will see one change, with Luke Ayling, Stuart Dallas and Diego Llorente all starting against the dangerous Spurs attack.

Liam Cooper will come back into the side after his suspension, and after a fragile afternoon at Brighton, Pascal Struijk will drop to the bench.

Kalvin Phillips is likely to miss out again, with Adam Pope sharing that the Yorkshire Pirlo continues to be a big doubt with his calf problem.

Robin Koch should continue, and it will be Tyler Roberts and Mateusz Klich in midfield ahead of him, with our options very limited there.

It’s a full Premier League debut awaiting Ian Poveda, who should come into the side with Raphinha also a big doubt for the Whites.

Jack Harrison will be on the opposite flank, with numerous players currently sidelined at Thorp Arch at this moment in time.

Who else but Patrick Bamford to lead the line? The England hopeful will be desperate to find the back of the net with a quiet spell in front of goal taking over.

Here is how we expect the Whites to line up…
