Leeds United set to confirm deal for Liverpool gem as farewell message sent
Leeds United are preparing to announce the arrival of Liverpool youngster Kai Morrall.
Daniel Farke understands the importance of youth at Leeds and is constantly on the lookout for fresh talent at Thorp Arch.
Harry Gray looks to be one of Leeds’ brightest prospects, as the teenager could follow in the footsteps of his older brother Archie.
Leeds‘ attack in particular has suffered this season, and Morrall’s impending arrival at Leeds could be a long-term fix.
Kai Morrall shares Liverpool message ahead of Leeds move
According to the Yorkshire Evening Post,15-year-old Morrall has come to a mutual agreement over a move from Liverpool to Leeds.
The Whites are not expected to pay any compensation, as the Republic of Ireland international took to Instagram to bid his farewell to Liverpool, the side he joined at Under-9s level.
Morrall said: “After eight years at Liverpool, it is time for me to say goodbye. I would like to thank all the staff and the coaches who have helped me develop into a better player and person.
“I am now looking forward to starting a new chapter and hopefully more things to come.”

But Leeds fans will wonder when Morrall could break into the first team.
What could Morrall offer Farke in the future?
Morrall has featured for the Reds at Under-16s level, and has been described primarily as a wide attacker.
We’ve seen 15-year-old’s now make their debuts in the Premier League with Arsenal’s Max Dowman impressing, but could Morrall be next?
Leeds still have the likes of Jack Harrison on their books, and if Morrall impresses at Thorp Arch, he could be promoted to Farke‘s senior team in the future.
The move shows Leeds’ smart thinking, and Paraag Marathe deserves a pat on the back for securing a promising future for the Whites.
