Harry Gray made statement Daniel Farke can’t ignore after what he did for Leeds U21s
Harry Gray was on fire yet again for Leeds’ U21s on Tuesday, and Daniel Farke can’t ignore the youngster anymore.
Leeds were delighted that Gray signed a contract extension in October, after his sizzling performances and progression through the youth ranks at Thorp Arch.
Gray is highly rated at Leeds and is emerging as a player who has the potential to be the future face of the Whites.
There are worries over regulations in Gray’s contract that could see other Premier League teams poach their youngster.
However, if Farke puts two and two together, he’ll be able to keep the starlet happy, and Leeds will be able to benefit yet again from the Gray dynasty.

Harry Gray scored a brace against Accrington Stanley’s senior team
Leeds‘ U21s side is in the EFL Trophy as they were placed in Northern Group G this season.
The young Whites side have had to play against stiff League One and League Two outfits such as Port Vale, Fleetwood Town, and, more recently, Accrington Stanley.
Leeds’ U21s lost 3-2 to Accrington at the Wham Stadium on Tuesday, 12 October, but Gray was sensational once again.
| Minutes | Shots (on target) | Goals | POTM | Rating |
| 90 | 3 (3) | 2 | 1 | 8.7 |
Gray scored two for the Whites and ran out of the game as the highest-rated player on the field.
Not only did the goals impress, but Gray won two of his aerial duels and drew three fouls, proving that he is stepping up when it comes to playing physical senior sides.
He opened the scoring in the game and also netted a late goal, which was ultimately only a consolation, as a conversation needs to be had about his inclusion in Leeds’ Premier League games.
Daniel Farke needs to give Gray more Premier League minutes
Leeds have played 11 times in the Premier League this season, and have only gained 11 points, with pressure now growing on Farke.
Gray has featured in just one of Leeds’ Premier League matchday squads, which came in the Whites’ comfortable 3-1 victory over Wolves in September.
Even in the game against Wolves, Farke was reluctant to give Gray any minutes. But with Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s terrible performances, there is now no reason why Farke shouldn’t give Gray a chance from the bench.
