Harry Gray can join brother Archie Gray in Leeds United first team after what he did at Thorp Arch
Harry Gray could be set to join his older brother Archie in the Leeds United first team after what he did for the Under-18s on Wednesday (24 April).
Gray’s older brother has become an integral part of Daniel Farke’s squad at Elland Road this season, excelling at both central midfield and right-back and quickly emerging as a fan favourite.
Archie’s younger sibling is making noises too. At just 15 years of age, many eyes have drifted onto the centre-forward’s current campaign, having netted seven goals in nine appearances at U18-level. [FotMob]
Despite his inexperience, his older brother’s route into the first-team set-up will give him confidence that a senior debut might not be too far away, and his recent exploits will certainly do those chances no harm.
The young Whites claimed their fourth consecutive victory with a comfortable 5-0 result against Derby County, with Gray scoring twice to take the side into fourth place in the U18 Premier League.
Several of the 15-year-old’s goals this season have come from the penalty spot, though he needed no spot-kicks to get his name on the scoresheet twice against the Rams.
A 5-0 win over Derby is no mean feat, with the Midlands club currently sitting in third place in the U18 Premier League, though it may not have been unexpected after Leeds’ 6-1 win in the return fixture.
Leeds United excitement over Harry Gray’s development
The Elland Road faithful have every right to be excited about the younger Gray, especially if he is anywhere near as talented as his older brother.
Farke has shown that there is a clear path to the senior team, proven by the likes of 18-year-old Gray, Mateo Joseph and 17-year-old Charlie Crew.

Fans will hope that Gray is another positive example and begin to follow in the footsteps of his brother at Elland Road.
It would be an incredible sight to see the Gray brothers together in action for the Leeds first team one day and that could be a very real possibility if the youngster continues to prove himself at Thorp Arch.
