Everything you need to know about Miller Megson as Leeds United loan exit sealed
Leeds United Under-18s defender Miller Megson has completed a loan move to Longridge Town in order to continue his development.
Megson has joined the North West Counties Premier Division side on an initial one-month loan deal.

He has now dropped down to the ninth tier of English football in order to get some more senior minutes under his belt.

Who is Miller Megson?
Megson has come through the ranks at Leeds, progressing all the way up to the Under-18s side.
The defender penned a two-year scholarship deal at Thorp Arch back in the summer of 2025, which allowed him to continue his journey with the Whites while studying for a BTEC diploma.
He was one of 15 players to sign scholarships that run until the summer of 2027, at which time it will be decided whether they are given professional contracts or released.
The Leeds academy staff clearly feel that Megson will benefit from a spell playing first-team football further down the pyramid at this stage in his career, which is why he has now gone out on loan.
Longridge Town, who are based just outside of Preston, currently sit 14th in the North West Counties Premier Division.
Harry Gray in middle of tough run on loan
Harry Gray, brother of former Leeds midfielder Archie, penned a scholarship deal with the West Yorkshire outfit at the same time as Megson last summer.
Gray is viewed as a potential star at Elland Road and signed his first professional contract with Daniel Farke’s side just three months later, as the Whites were eager to tie him down long term.
He was then sent out on loan to Rotherham United in League One during the winter transfer window, scoring two goals in his first four games for the Millers.
However, Rotherham have now lost four matches in a row, with Gray failing to get on the scoresheet in that time.
The League One outfit sit 23rd in the table and are in real danger of dropping into the fourth tier.
