'Some player' - Many Leeds fans thrilled by ace in U23s win v Crewe: 'Like a new signing'
Leeds United midfielder Jamie Shackleton continued his recovery from injury with another outing for the under-23s against Crewe on Monday.
The youngster was an unused substitute on Saturday in the 2-0 defeat against Sheffield Wednesday after recovering from an injury alongside Pablo Hernandez.
Carlos Corberan threw him straight back into the fold at Alexandra Park and got his reward. Shackleton opened the scoring in the first half with a lovely effort in the top corner from just outside the box.

Along with great praise for his goal on Monday came a number of fans claiming Shackleton should come into the starting line up against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
There could be a chance of that, with Mateusz Klich being dragged off early after struggling against the Owls. Stuart Dallas also seemed to pick up an injury – something which many thought could be a serious problem for the versatile midfielder.
Get Shackleton back in the 1st team starting for Saturday
