Yaser Asprilla faith lost after record transfer with Leeds United move now on cards
Leeds United could be lining up a summer move for Yaser Asprilla already.
Asprilla joined Girona from Watford to break the record of the Spanish club at the time, but it hasn’t gone as planned for the Colombian international.
The winger is currently on loan at Galatasaray, but is said to have disappeared already.
Now, that is where Leeds come into play.
The Whites appear to be planning for life in the Premier League again, with a six-point gap over the relegation zone at Elland Road.

Yaser Asprilla faith lost already in Spain
Sport have named Leeds as an option for Asprilla, despite Galatasaray having a purchase option in the upcoming summer window.
The Spanish outlet says the dream crumbled early for the winger after his move to Watford, and it looks as though another transfer is likely.
Sporting director Quique Cárcel did admit recently that he was worried by Asprilla after his start at Girona, so all parties look to be ready for the exit.
What positions could Leeds target in summer window?
Of course, it all depends on survival in LS11, but it’s looking more likely right now.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha have been two of the best signings at Elland Road, and both arrived with no transfer fees, which shows that the 49ers can get it right with their budget.

Asprilla may have been a record signing at Girona, but that was still below £18million, so you’d expect any future fee to be lower than that, given his struggles.
Wingers aren’t exactly thriving right now at Elland Road, though under Daniel Farke‘s system, so it may be a surprise if they are targeted over the summer.
A new goalkeeper with reinforcements in central defence and midfield, as well as another striker, could all take priority over a winger like Asprilla.
It is always easy to link Leeds with a player for agents and media, given the fan attention it will get, so that is more likely what is happening here.
