Wolves deal to unlock Leeds bid to sign Rodrigo Muniz in £10m update
Rodrigo Muniz has been a Leeds United target for some time.
The Brazilian attacker has impressed during his time at Fulham and has netted 26 times at the London club.
Therefore, Daniel Farke is aiming to take him off the Cottagers’ hands, as he looks for a new star to lead his attack.
Leeds had reportedly bid for Muniz. However, the 24-year-old remains a Fulham player.
Now, the transfer saga has taken yet another twist as the start of the Premier League season edges closer.

Leeds hopeful Mateo Joseph departure can fund Muniz transfer
On top of signings, Leeds have not been afraid to oversee potential departures this summer.
Patrick Bamford was told he is not in Farke’s plans this season, with the striker now likely to leave Elland Road.
Another player who has been heavily linked away from Leeds is Mateo Joseph, with Real Betis lurking.
The Spaniard has struggled to find form since his move to Elland Road and has only netted six times in 73 appearances.

Therefore, according to the Sun on Sunday, page 57 (20 July), Leeds are looking to get £10 million for the attacker.
Real Betis have felt this asking price is too high, but Celta Vigo are in the mix, armed with cash from Fer Lopez’s move to Wolves.
Leeds are hopeful that a bidding war may start for Joseph, as the Yorkshire club plans to use the funds to make an improved bid for Muniz.

Leeds need a sell-on clause in any Joseph sale
While Leeds would do well to get £10m for Joseph given his poor form at Elland Road, they still need to look to add a sell-on clause.
Despite his poor showing in England, the striker could easily find his form on the continent and get his career back on track.
At 21 years old, Joseph still has plenty of potential and could one day become a good attacker.
Therefore, Leeds must protect their interests and add a sell-on clause to help provide additional funds in the future.
