When Leeds United could announce James Justin transfer as medical done

Leeds United are continuing their Premier League revolution with the imminent arrival of Leicester City right-back James Justin.

Justin has completed his medical at Thorp Arch and looks set to be the Whites’ 10th signing of the ongoing transfer window.

Leeds will pay Leicester a package deal worth £10million for Justin, including add-ons, as the West Yorkshire outfit further bolster their backline.

Fans in LS11 will undoubtedly be excited to see the Englishman arrive as the Peacocks look to secure their Premier League status this season.

Leeds United to announce James Justin transfer by close of play

Leeds are close to unveiling Justin as their newest summer signing from Leicester, according to YEP.

The news outlet reports on 25 August that Daniel Farke was keen to add another full-back option at Elland Road before the end of August, and the 27-year-old is about to fill that requirement.

It’s been claimed that £2m add-ons in the deal are not guaranteed to be met, with an official announcement expected by the close of play in LS11.

The one-cap England international will definitely add much-needed Premier League experience to the West Yorkshire outfit’s squad.

Isaac Schmidt transfer now guaranteed after James Justin signing

Werder Bremen have been working on signing Isaac Schmidt this summer, but his move has so far been blocked as Farke looked for a replacement.

Now that James is about to sign for the Whites, it looks like the Switzerland international’s one-year stint at Elland Road is about to come to an end.

The 25-year-old right-back was rightfully below Jayden Bogle in the pecking order last season, but only managed 71 Championship minutes.

Leeds were fearful of Justin’s transfer falling through after he picked up a slight knock at Leicester during their 2-1 loss to Preston North End on 16 August.

It doesn’t seem like the English defender’s knock was serious enough to jeopardise a move to LS11 in the final weeks of the transfer window.

Supporters should expect multiple announcements from Elland Road in the coming hours as Justin and Schmidt’s futures look intertwined.
