What Valencia are willing to pay Leeds for Largie Ramazani as negotiations underway
Leeds United will want to get the best possible deal for Largie Ramazani as he nears Valencia move.
Ramazani was not called up to face Arsenal at the Emirates as the Whites were handed their biggest defeat of the season thus far.
Mikel Arteta’s side put five past Leeds in what was a humiliating game for Daniel Farke. The defeat raises the question of whether Ramazani’s flair would have helped United in attack.
However, Ramazani’s zero minutes in Leeds’ 1-0 win against Everton indicate that he is not in Farke’s plans for this season. Despite this, United will still be hoping to get the most out of his exit.

Valencia willing to cover Largie Ramazani’s salary but wants free loan
Largie Ramazani is close to arriving at Valencia on loan after inconsistent minutes at Leeds.
The winger, who arrived from Spain in 2024, was part of Leeds’ Championship-winning side.
- 3 July 2017: Ramazani signed a four-year deal at Manchester United’s youth academy
- 21 March 2018: The winger signs his first professional contract with Man United
- 28 November 2019: Ramazani makes his first senior debut for United as a substitute against FC Astana in the UEFA Europa League
Despite experience in England and abroad, he has not yet made his Premier League debut for Leeds. Thus, with a departure almost inevitable this summer, United will be hoping to agree the best terms with Valencia.
As reported by Sacha Tavolieri via X on Sunday, 24 August, Valencia entered talks with Leeds to secure a free loan with a buy option for Ramazani.
The La Liga side are willing to cover his salary but wants to negotiate a free loan along with a purchase option in return. However, United want a loan fee.
This difference in opinion on the structure of the agreement could prevent the deal from being signed before the deadline.
Will Ramazani succeed with Valencia?
One of the main objectives of this loan move is to continue Ramazani’s development plan. If successful, he could become a consistent starter for Leeds upon his return to England.
His history at Almeria reveals that a loan move to Valencia could be the perfect choice.
Ramazani was instrumental in Almeria’s return to the Spanish top-flight, netting eight goals and providing one assist during the 2021/22 season. He went on to score seven goals and provide six assists in all competitions for his final two seasons in Spain.
The winger has struggled to reach the same or even greater heights in England. But a season-long loan at Valencia could help him rediscover his form.
