Victor Orta wants to raid Leeds United as Sevilla want to sign Tyler Adams
Victor Orta wants to raid Leeds United once more by signing Tyler Adams for new club Sevilla after agreeing a deal to sign Rodrigo, according to Fichajes.net (27 June).
Orta was sacked by Leeds towards the end of the 2022/23 season after the club sacked Javi Gracia, before relegation was confirmed down to the Championship.
He has landed on his feet though by bagging a new job at Sevilla and after already returning to Elland Road to sign striker Rodrigo, he now wants to come back and take midfielder Adams to La Liga.

The report claims that Sevilla are preparing a “downward offer” for the USMNT international but the player’s contract, which runs until 2027, means they will have to pay up in order to secure his signature.
Several Premier League clubs are interested in signing Adams too, although the 49ers Enterprises are keen to find a way of keeping hold of the 24-year-old for the next season.
Insight
Orta would have been the man who got the deal to bring Adams to Elland Road from RB Leipzig last summer, and he will know all the details of the player’s contract too.
That will give him a great insight into the sort of wages that can be paid to Adams and also how much Leeds will be looking to get for him considering their relegation.

He’ll already have a good rapport with the player’s camp too, and if he wants to step in and sign him then he will have a great advantage over other parties.
Leeds will know that but will want the absolute best deal they can possibly get if he is to leave, and that likely means a Premier League club will be destination because of the money they can spend in comparison.
It would be a real shock to the system if he is still at Elland Road when the season starts, nevermind when the transfer window slams shut, but hopefully he doesn’t link up with Orta again.
