Tottenham ace Archie Gray Leeds United return mooted by Josh Warrington
Leeds United have been urged to bring back Tottenham midfielder Archie Gray in the future by Josh Warrington.
The boxer is a die-hard Whites fan and has mooted a scenario of the Englishman returning to Elland Road for a club record fee.
The 18-year-old moved to North London this summer in a surprise move as Brentford missed out on securing his services.
Warrington told Leeds United News on 14 July: “Young, ambitious, he’s got good people around him. He comes from a footballing family. I hope when we’re high-flyers in the Champions League in a few years, he comes back to Leeds for a record fee.
“I wish him all the best. You can’t blame him for taking an opportunity. Was it fully in his hands? I’m not too sure. But I wish him well
Archie Gray returning would be a dream for Leeds United fans
If Leeds want to secure Gray’s signature in the future, they’ll need to climb back up to the Premier League and prove they can maintain their top-flight status.
His potential return to Elland Road could be influenced by his lack of game time at Spurs, a club that aims to be in the Champions League every season.
Every Leeds fan would welcome Gray back in a heartbeat because he represents more than just a talented young player as he embodies a legacy.
As a third-generation member of the Gray family to play for Leeds, his return would be seen as a homecoming, a continuation of a cherished tradition.
His departure, while a financial windfall for the club, left a void that only his return could fill.
It remains to be seen what the Whites’ plan is to secure a replacement for him in this summer transfer window.

Hopefully, he does have his last dance at Elland Road sometime in the future.
In other Leeds United news, a verdict has emerged over a new Elland Road transfer as the Whites eye a move to sign an international defender.
