Thorp Arch update on Kris Moore as Leeds United transfer decision influenced
Leeds United Under-21 defender Kris Moore has returned to Thorp Arch following a trial with Hibernian, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post (YEP).
The publication reported on its website on Thursday (18 January) that Hibs have opted against signing the 20-year-old on a six-month loan.
The YEP added that the decision was influenced by the return of fellow defender Kanayo Megwa to Hibs following a loan spell with Airdrieonians.

Back home
It isn’t exactly the worst thing in the world that the Scottish club have decided against bringing in Moore. The young defender could have made his senior football debut with the Edinburgh club, and could have gone on to become an important player for them.
But the way things have worked out with the youngster and with Megwa, Moore is now back in West Yorkshire and back with the Leeds Under-21 side. That is great news for the club, with the versatile defender currently captain of his team.

The fact that Hibs took Moore away on warm weather training in Dubai should be seen as a huge compliment, with the player clearly highly thought of.
And he should be proud of that move as opposed to being upset about not completing a temporary switch there this month.
There is, of course, still a long way to go in the January transfer window, so it would be foolish to rule out a loan move elsewhere for Moore.
The versatile defender would be a great asset for a club needing a new man at the back, with the Whites ace capable of playing at both centre-back and right-back.
He has made eight Premier League 2 appearances this season, and has even chipped in going forward with one goal and one assist.
In other Leeds United news, a billionaire-owned club is now ready to submit a “big cash” bid to sign a Whites outcast this month.
