'The goal machine we need', 'Brilliant' – Leeds Super Fans react to potential Jan loan deal
This is part of a regular series from our panel of Leeds United Super Fans. Each week, our Super Fans will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around Elland Road and Thorp Arch.

Leeds are getting a new striker this January and that’s dominating talk around Elland Road this month.
We know who Leeds want – Che Adams – but we don’t know if it’s going to be possible to get him.
There are alternatives.
One name that keeps cropping up is Newcastle’s Dwight Gayle. Leeds are said to be fans and his situation changed yesterday.

From saying they would only consider a permanent deal, Newcastle are now open to putting him out on loan, on the proviso that the receiving club pays all of his £50k-a-week wages.
That would free Newcastle up to bring someone else in, with Gayle not able to deliver in the Premier League.
That could work for Leeds, who presumably wouldn’t want to bring Gayle in on a permanent deal with his Premier League record, even if they could navigate the financial issues.
In the Championship, though? Gayle scores goals and that’s what Leeds need. Paul Robinson told MOT Leeds News he would take Gayle “tomorrow” and that Leeds should do everything and anything possible to sign him.
But what do our Super Fans think?

There’s dissension in the ranks.
Some are in the Robinson camp and think he would be a brilliant signing.
Others aren’t convinced that he fits into the Bielsa system, and think Leeds need another Bamford-type player like Che Adams. He’s the number one target, but will he sign?
