'Sounds like he's off', 'Get it done' – Many Leeds fans thrilled by update on 'immense' forward
Hull City manager Grant McCann did his bit on Thursday to add even more drama to the last week of a January window that is already promising to be frenzied for Leeds United fans.
McCann revealed at his press conference that Hull might be forced to sell star Jarrod Bowen if he doesn’t accept their offer of a new contract.
Leeds United have been reportedly readying a £3m loan bid that would rise to £15m to make the deal permanent if they get promoted – and fans want owner Andrea Radrizzani to pounce now to make sure the move happens.
It was the first time today that McCann had admitted that Bowen might have to be sold and it’s left Leeds fans very excited.
It’s the first time he mentioned possibly having to sell Bowen if he doesn’t sign a deal … https://t.co/Zyzd7iV6Mw

Bowen is a winger not a striker but he’s a prolific one.
He’s scored 16 goals in 28 league games this season, which puts him just behind the leading strikers in the Championship.

Leeds might be on the lookout for a striker but Bowen would fit into the Leeds side brilliantly and would definitely be Premier League-ready.
And one Leeds fan had a cunning plan involving Bowen that would see Marcelo Bielsa develop him into a striker. Two birds. One stone.
Other Leeds fans have just resorted to pleading, with one saying “Please sign Jarrod Bowen” ten times in one message and tagging in owner Andrea Radrizzani.
Please sign Jarrod Bown, please sign Jarrod Bowen, please sign Jarrod Bowen, please sign Jarrod Bowen, please sign Jarrod Bowen, please sign Jarrod Bowen, please sign Jarrod Bowen, please sign Jarrod Bowen, please sign Jarrod Bowen, please sign Jarrod Bowen @andrearadri #LUFC

Here are the best of the rest of the reactions from Leeds fans on Twitter today…
Bowen is another level. It would be immense if we signed him and he would fire us up. The club have to take a gamble and find a way! #lufc

If Radz was truly ambitious, he would get this done whatever it takes. It our only chance to get promoted since a very long time. He missed it up last season, for crying out loud, don’t repeat the same mistake and take the right action. make this happen.

Well that sounds like he is off. I would guess it will be whoever gives them the most money upfront. Don’t think they will care about loans with obligations ets. Around £10m would have to be considered I would have thought. Would we pay that?

— Zoe Mitchell (@zmitchell1991) January 23, 2020
If #lufc are prepared to take Adams for 25 mil so they say I would take Bowen for the same money all day long plays week in week out scored plenty no brainer let’s see if radz and the bullshitting squad are actually prepared to spend

Come on #lufc, call a mystery press conference and then have Jarrod Bowen & Andre Gray come out wearing Adidas apparel.
Lovely. Stuff.
