'Significant boost' - Journalist comments on reported Leeds hunt that would be 'Tremendous'
Leeds United have already started to reportedly target a number of different players in the January market.
Football Insider have recently claimed that the Whites are in the hunt to sign Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara.
It is suggested that the Scottish club value the 24-year-old at over £8million after Leeds were scouting the midfield talent during a Europa League match earlier in the campaign.
Leeds Live journalist Josh Challies has recently reported five targets that the Whites could target, and commented on the link with Kamara in January.
“Should he move to Elland Road, Kamara would provide a significant boost to Marcelo Bielsa’s squad and also presents tremendous sell-on value for the future,” he wrote on Leeds Live.
That isn’t the first thing that people like Victor Orta will be looking for in a potential incoming player, but it definitely helps.
There is very little chance that Leeds add a player to their squad permanently in the January market, especially Kamara.
Both Rangers and Steven Gerrard will expect a big-money fee for the midfielder, and Leeds simply aren’t in a position to cough up large sums at this moment in time.
The financial fair play rules are creeping up on numerous Championship clubs, and another big deal after the Helder Costa move that could eventually move up to £15million.
