Robin Koch talks already held with Eintracht Frankfurt as Sky Sports share Leeds United transfer news
Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krosche has already held talks about a transfer for Leeds United defender Robin Koch, according to Sky Sports Germany.
Florian Plettenberg reported on Saturday (17 June) that the German centre-back is available on a free transfer this summer after the club’s relegation from the Premier League.
Although the German club stand a good chance of signing Koch, there have been no commitments, let alone an agreement for a transfer.

The 26-year-old is looking for regular football next season and wants to be a part of the Germany team in Euro 2024.

Euro 2024 key
It is only a matter of time until Koch seals his exit from Elland Road, and it seems like Frankfurt are in the hot seat for his signature.
The German defender was one of the Whites’ standout players last season, albeit in a defence that shipped 78 goals from just 38 Premier League games. His ball-playing ability and flexibility across the defence and even into midfield are extremely useful, and it is no surprise that he has suitors across Europe.
The major issue for Leeds will be trying to get a replacement in the building who can live up to Koch in the heart of defence.
If Max Wober were to leave as well this summer, it would leave the club severely understaffed at centre-back ahead of what will be a gruelling season in the Championship.
One player who could benefit from this transfer is youngster Charlie Cresswell who will be returning to West Yorkshire following a hugely successful loan spell at Millwall.
In other Leeds United news, a BBC pundit has been left stunned as Phil Hay has dropped a fresh update on who the Whites are considering bringing in as manager this summer.
