Revealed: How many signings Leeds are expected to make before transfer window shuts
Leeds United have been pushing hard to complete a big-money move for Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen in the winter transfer window.
However, it looks like Crystal Palace have won the race for Strand Larsen, with the Norwegian striker completing his medical at the Eagles.
Joel Piroe will probably be staying at Elland Road now, with Daniel Farke’s attacking options probably not changing before the 7pm deadline on 2 February.
Considering the West Yorkshire outfit were willing to spend a significant sum on the 25-year-old centre-forward, they surely have the funds to get a few deals over the line for the German manager in the coming hours if they want.

Leeds United unlikely to sign new players on Deadline Day
Leeds aren’t expected to complete any deals for new players on Deadline Day, according to the YEP.
Graham Smyth reports in the news outlet on 2 February that while the Whites remain open to the possibilities of completing transfers late in the window, that looks unlikely at Elland Road.
Farke could’ve had Strand Larsen at his disposal, with the West Yorkshire outfit submitting an offer for the centre-forward, but he looks on his way to Palace.
The Peacocks saw the striker as more of a market opportunity, which is why they were willing to splash the cash on him.
Unless the LS11 hierarchy is presented with a similar chance to sign someone late in the window, it looks like Facundo Buonanotte will be the only first-team arrival midway through the season.

Daniel Farke has new Elland Road transfer headache before 7pm
Karl Darlow was horrendous against Arsenal as Leeds lost 4-0 in the Premier League on 31 January.
The Welsh goalkeeper’s performance at Elland Road has highlighted the Whites’ problem between the sticks, with Lucas Perri also dropped to the bench after his recent errors, but the Brazilian’s record this season reads better as seen in the Sofascore comparison.

Illan Meslier is surprisingly still at the club after losing his number one spot towards the end of last season, after consistently poor displays.
It doesn’t look like the West Yorkshire outfit have fixed their issues with Perri’s signing last summer, and Farke may be tempted to go for a new goalkeeper once again before the transfer window closes.
