Chile international Mauricio Isla has been offered to Leeds United by his agent, according to radio broadcaster Luis Fregossi.
The 32-year-old is without a club after leaving Fenerbahce in June.
Fregossi’s tweet reads, “Mauricio Isla is waiting for another offer from Europe. His agent has been in contact with Leeds in the last few days to offer the player to them.”
Isla is predominantly a right-back but can also play on the right of midfield.
He has 115 caps for Chile where he’s played a significant portion at right midfield.

Familar face for Bielsa
Bielsa will know all about Isla. He was the Chile manager between 2007 and 2011 and took over shortly after Isla made his debut for his country.
It’s not the first time Isla has been linked but is this any more than a free agent with Bielsa connections being linked?
His agent will obviously be on the lookout for a new club for his client and Leeds would seem an obvious fit, but for one big factor – Leeds don’t need a right-back.
Leeds have issues in defence but that’s the one position that is fine, with Luke Ayling putting in a brilliant season in the Championship.
Leeds are looking for new centre-backs, with Ben White top of the list and they could be after a natural left-sided defender.
Even with the versatility of Isla, we can’t see this being a position that Leeds will strengthen in and we don’t think Bielsa will take long to give Isla’s agent his answer.
This one isn’t for us.
