Real Madrid and Bayern Munich attend Leeds United clash v Hull in Archie Gray transfer update

Bayern Munich and Real Madrid had representatives in attendance to watch Leeds United gem Archie Gray against Hull City, according to HITC.

The website reported on its website on Tuesday (2 April) that the German and Spanish giants were represented at Elland Road on Monday (1 April) to watch the teenager ahead of the summer transfer window.

Both clubs are closely monitoring the 18-year-old who has broken into Daniel Farke’s first team this season, despite the fact Gray committed his future to the Whites earlier this season by signing a new deal until 2028 at Elland Road.

Leeds have insisted that they have no intention of selling the midfielder this summer as they hope Gray will feature for the Whites in the Premier League next season.

Will Real Madrid or Bayern Munich sign Archie Gray from Leeds United in the summer transfer window?

Archie Gray’s form this season was never going to go unnoticed by teams both in the Premier League and beyond and it is clear from both Madrid and Bayern’s attendance at Elland Road the teenager is catching the eye.

The 18-year-old has already been linked with the likes of Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund ahead of the summer transfer window and it is becoming increasingly clear that Leeds United face a battle to keep him in Yorkshire.

Hopefully, Gray’s ties with the club may boost the Whites’ chances of keeping him beyond the end of the summer transfer window, but the European giants’ interest won’t go anywhere if he impresses in the Premier League, should Leeds win promotion.

It will be hard for Farke and those in charge at Elland Road to stand in the teenager’s way if either Bayern or Real come knocking, but both clubs’ interest demonstrates just what sort of talent Leeds have at their disposal currently.

The one thing that’s certain is that this speculation won’t be going anywhere in the coming months. Gray is a popular figure in football and teams will be preparing approaches already.
