Rasmus Hojlund transfer: Leeds United truth emerges after developments
Leeds United have been linked with Manchester United forward Rasmus Hojlund, and the truth behind those rumours has emerged.
Hojlund could potentially move to Elland Road as the Whites are said to be keeping tabs on the Denmark international ahead of a possible summer loan deal.
Amid all the noise around the 22-year-old, an update has emerged regarding him in an apparent twist at the West Yorkshire outfit.

Leeds United and Hojlund transfer rumour not true
Hojlund isn’t on the Whites’ transfer shortlist ahead of next summer, Ben Jacobs says.
The GiveMeSport journalist has revealed that the Peacocks aren’t interested in signing the former Atalanta striker.
Competiton (2024/25) | Matches | Goals | Assists |
Premier League | 21 | 2 | 0 |
FA Cup | 2 | 0 | 0 |
Europa League | 8 | 5 | 1 |
Carabao Cup | 2 | 0 | 0 |
Jacobs has dismissed any links between the West Yorkshire outfit and the Danish forward as he wants to stay at Old Trafford.
Speaking to GiveMeSport (23 February), the journalist said: “It’s not true to my understanding, despite some rumours, that Hojlund is on Leeds’ shortlist.
“Naturally, it would be a huge fee and a huge wage, the player still wants to stay at Man United, and Man United have no real ability selling this summer to make anything other than a book loss. So it’s been very much dismissed, any links between Hojlund and Leeds.”
Elland Road need striker like Hojlund soon
Leeds look set for Premier League promotion and are seen by many as favourites to finish at top of the Championship table this season.
Farke managed expectations at Elland Road after last season despite losing to Southampton in the play-off final at Wembley.
After the previous campaign’s disappointment, the German manager kept his job, but fans will call for his head if the Peacocks fail to get back into the English top flight in the coming months.
If and when the Whites return to the Premier League, they will arguably have to make serious investments in their squad to have a chance of surviving relegation.
It has been difficult over the years for promoted teams to retain their status in the English top flight, but that can’t be allowed to happen at the West Yorkshire outfit.

The 49ers Enterprises must ensure they back Farke with quality signings if they win promotion, and failure to do so will undoubtedly cause the supporters to turn on them.
Farke has relied on Joel Piroe as his starting number-nine for most of the season, but the German manager seemingly lacks quality in the squad.
Mateo Joseph has been underwhelming this season, while Patrick Bamford looks to be in his final months at Elland Road.
While Hojlund may not be the answer, the Whites will soon need someone with Premier League experience.
