Ramazani sends message to England international as Leeds transfer confirmed
Largie Ramazani has been tasked with helping new signing Gabriel Gudmundsson settle in at Leeds United.
Daniel Farke’s side secured their fourth signing of the transfer window after already adding the likes of Jaka Bijol, Lukas Nmecha and Sebastiaan Bornauw to the squad.
The LS11 outfit are starting to build a team that is ready to fight for Premier League survival and have finally replaced the departing Junior Firpo, after he left on a free transfer.

Leeds star Ramazani reacts as Gomes sends Gudmundsson message
Leeds confirmed the signing of Gudmundsson on Tuesday (9 July) in a £10million deal from French outfit Lille.
The left-back took to Instagram to send a message to Elland Road supporters after the transfer was confirmed, saying: “New chapter. New challenge. Leeds United — let’s do this.”
Former Lille midfielder and England international, Angel Gomes, who played with the new Whites ace at the Stade Pierre Mauroy, sent a message to Ramazani, saying: “Look after my boy.”
The Peacocks winger reacted, saying: “Don’t worry, he’s in good hands.”
Anthony Elanga also sent a message to the new Leeds man, as he looks set to complete a move to Newcastle, he simply said: “Good luck to my brother. See you soon.”
Leeds need Gudmundsson to settle quickly
Gudmundsson will be the Whites’ starting left-back, with Isaac Schmidt struggling to get into the team in the Championship.
Whether he is capable of replacing Firpo, who notched four goals and 10 assists in the promotion-winning campaign, remains to be seen.
He has significant experience at the top level, though, having featured 103 times in Ligue 1 and 13 times in the Champions League, so he should be able to handle the top-flight in England.
The Whites still need to do more business; they still need upgrades to their goalkeeper and striker options if they are to survive at the elite level.
The likes of Nick Pope and Yahia Fofana have been linked as potential Illan Meslier replacements between the sticks.
Meanwhile, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Nikola Krstovic have been touted as options to lead the line as doubts have emerged over Joel Piroe.
The 49ers must continue to back Farke, and every sign so far shows that they will do all that they can to help the Yorkshire side stay in the division.
