Largie Ramazani has landed in England as he looks set to seal a move to Leeds United, according to Sacha Tavolieri.

The Belgian journalist reported on 21 August that he was on the road to his hotel before a medical on Thursday, 22 August.

Leeds United move swiftly to seal Largie Ramazani's transfer

The Whites' swift acquisition of Ramazani can be attributed to the fact that they identified the 23-year-old as a key replacement for Crysencio Summerville, leveraging his profile as a versatile and goal-scoring winger from Almeria.

Leeds moved decisively, agreeing on a fee of £10million with Almeria, which included add-ons and a sell-on clause, making the deal financially appealing for both parties.

This agreement was facilitated by the Elland Road outfit's readiness to act quickly in the transfer market, especially as the window was nearing its close.

The speed of the negotiation, coupled with Ramazani's immediate travel to England for a medical, suggests Leeds had prepared the groundwork well in advance, possibly engaging in preliminary talks or scouting before the public announcement.

This proactive approach not only secured Ramazani's signature but also prevented other interested clubs from entering serious negotiations, showcasing Leeds' efficiency and determination in the transfer market.

After losing so many players this summer, it's good to see the Whites finally making some moves to strengthen their side.
