Perri to Leeds: Transfer fee, salary details and all you need to know on Lyon star
Lucas Perri looks set to become the latest arrival at Leeds United.
It has been clear since the start of the window that Leeds would be prioritising the signing of a goalkeeper, and after missing out on the signing of Caoimhin Kelleher, concerns were starting to emerge.
However, it has since been reported that Leeds have struck an agreement for the signing of Perri, who is set to jet into England to formalise the move.
It looks set to be another major coup for Daniel Farke’s side, who have made serious progress ahead of their return to the Premier League.

How much will Leeds pay for Perri?
The Brazilian shot-stopper has impressed since joining Lyon two years ago, and looks set to make the move to Leeds for a reported £13million.
In Ligue 1, the 27-year-old was earning just short of £15,000 per week (Capology), though that is likely to increase dramatically as he makes a move to the Premier League.
For comparison, Illan Meslier, who could be on his way out of Leeds, earns a reported £30,000 per week, and given that Perri will be signed as his replacement, his wage is likely to be north of that figure.
However, to get a goalkeeper of his pedigree for that price, it is a huge coup for the Whites, who will now feel a massive weight lifted off their shoulders.

Who is Leeds’ new goalkeeper?
Perri started his career in Brazil and did actually have a stint at Crystal Palace back in 2019, though he failed to make a single appearance for the Eagles.

He will be a major upgrade on Meslier and finally provide Leeds with someone that they can trust between the sticks.
