'Perhaps we can sell them Bamford' - Some Leeds fans react to latest on reported striker hunt
It seems unlikely that Leeds United will be able to sign Che Adams on loan from Southampton this month.
Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl has confirmed, as quoted by LeedsLive journalist Beren Cross, that Adams, 23, will not be loaned out this month because he has a shortage of attacking options in his squad.
Something of a blow for anyone in the market for Che Adams. Hasenhuttl: “I cannot consider that I loan him out because I need every player, especially in the attacking position, we don’t have that many." Doesn't mean things can't change, but clear as it stands. #lufc

Leeds have been linked with signing Adams as a replacement for Eddie Nketiah after Arsenal terminated his loan deal at Elland Road due to a shortage of game-time.
The Daily Mail reported this week that despite Southampton’s reluctance to loan out Leeds target Adams, the former Birmingham striker would have considered a drop down to the Championship to rediscover his goalscoring form.
Hasenhuttl’s quotes are a blow for Leeds because they could do with a proven Championship goalscorer like him in Marcelo Bielsa’s squad.
Supporters on Twitter have been reacting to the news and several have discussed what the Whites should do next amid this blow.
Glenn Murray and Jordan Ayew have been suggested as possible new targets while another has even said that Patrick Bamford should be used as a makeweight to get Adams from Southampton.
While we do not agree with the point about Bamford, Brighton striker Murray might be a great shout.
