Patrick Bamford jets out along with Wrexham chiefs in Leeds exit admission
Patrick Bamford and his Leeds United teammates have headed to Las Vegas to celebrate their Championship title success.
The Elland Road club have enjoyed a stellar second-tier campaign, amassing 100 points and beating Burnley to the title courtesy of their superior goal difference.
Thanks to their silverware-clinching season, Leeds will be competing in next season’s Premier League and will have to add reinforcements to their squad in the summer transfer window.
But to add top-flight quality to their ranks, Daniel Farke’s men will have to facilitate the exits of some of their current squad.

Bamford reveals Wrexham players were in the same venue as the Leeds squad in Vegas
Bamford has endured a lack of game time with the West Yorkshire giants this term, failing to make a Championship start.
According to TeamTalk, Wrexham are interested in signing the one-cap England international after winning promotion from League One to the second tier.

The report adds that Bamford’s arrival could pave the way for Leeds to sign Jamie Vardy, who has announced he is leaving Leicester.
Meanwhile, speaking to CBS Sports Golazo [10 May], the 31-year-old revealed that Wrexham players were in the same venue as the Whites in Vegas: “They were in the same place as us last night, but they were on different sides of the room. To be honest, I don’t know too many of them.”
Leeds summer exit could be perfect for Bamford
If Bamford remains at Elland Road this summer and is a member of Farke’s squad in the Premier League next term, there is no doubt he still has qualities to offer.
He has been with the West Yorkshire outfit since 2018, and previously performed well in the top-flight when he scored 17 goals in the 2020/21 Premier League campaign.
While the former England international receives little playing time nowadays, his dressing room presence is something that Farke’s squad benefits from.
However, after failing to make a Championship start as Leeds won the second-tier title, Bamford appears unlikely to regularly feature in the Premier League next season.
His career at Elland Road has been a success, and this summer could present him with the perfect opportunity to leave on a high after winning his second Championship title.
Furthermore, he could prove to be a real asset for newly promoted Wrexham in the second tier next term, should the Welsh side acquire his services.
