Patrick Bamford takes to Instagram as Leeds agree ‘undisclosed fee’
Patrick Bamford faces an uncertain future at Leeds United ahead of their upcoming Premier League campaign.
The striker struggled in the Championship last season and didn’t score a goal in 18 appearances in all competitions.
Therefore, there are massive doubts that the 31-year-old could make any sort of impact in the English top-flight.
Bamford has been linked away from Leeds throughout the transfer window. However, as it stands, he remains a player at the Yorkshire club.

Bamford reacts as Gabriel Gudmundsson joins Leeds
While Bamford’s future remains unknown, Daniel Farke has wasted no time in bringing in new additions.
Gabriel Gudmundsson was announced as Leeds’ fourth signing of the summer on Tuesday, with the left-back joining from Lille.
The 26-year-old has had a successful spell in France and has regularly played in Europe.
At Lille, he made over 100 appearances and was part of the side that reached the Champions League round of 16 last season.
The Swede will replace the departing Junior Firpo, who left Leeds upon the expiry of his contract.
Now, Leeds United have taken to their official Instagram page (8 July) to welcome Gudmundsson to the Yorkshire club.
Bamford was quick to react to this news, with the striker liking the post.
Heavy expectations will be placed on Gudmundsson
Unfortunately for Gudmundsson, he has big shoes to fill at Elland Road.
Firpo was excellent at Leeds last season and was one of the biggest reasons behind the Yorkshire club’s promotion to the Premier League.

Now, while Gudmundsson is unlikely to immediately fill these shoes, there will be an expectation that he can lock down the left flank this season.
Given his experience in Ligue 1, there is no reason why he cannot achieve this.
However, the Elland Road faithful will have to be patient. There is a big difference between the French and English leagues, which could take the 26-year-old a while to adapt to.
Hopefully, with friendlies on the horizon, this will help the Swede get more suited to Farke’s style ready for the upcoming season.
