Pascal Struijk makes Leeds United exit admission as transfer interest confirmed
Pascal Struijk has been ever-present for Leeds this season.
Struijk’s position in the Leeds team was in doubt after some defensive signings in the summer, but he has managed to keep his place so far.
The defender has played every minute of Leeds‘ Premier League campaign this season, being steady at the heart of the defence.
Struijk will most likely start against Bournemouth this weekend as Leeds look to make it back-to-back Premier League wins.

Pascal Struijk ‘never doubted’ Leeds commitment
Struijk was linked with an exit from Leeds this summer after seven years in West Yorkshire.
The Dutch defender ended up staying at Elland Road and was steadfast in his decision to stay at the club.
Speaking to BBC Sport, he said: “I was never doubting that I was not going to be at Leeds because I’m still on my contract.”
Struijk confirmed there was interest in him in the summer, but he is happy he stayed.
“There has been some stuff that personally I’ve had – some interest here and there,” he said.
“For me, to play in the Premier League with Leeds, I’ve done it before and I really wanted to do it again.”
Struijk is a fan favourite at Leeds, and supporters will have been delighted that he opted to stay amid interest – and intends to stay until his current deal expires at the earliest.

Daniel Farke can rely on Pascal Struijk
Daniel Farke will be delighted to have kept hold of the defender, and knows he is a key figure inside the dressing room.
Struijk formed a brilliant defensive partnership with Joe Rodon last season, which helped them win Premier League promotion.
- Struijk has been with Leeds since January 2018, after coming through the Ajax academy
- He has made 164 appearances for Leeds in seven years
- Struijk played in 35 games in the Championship last season, scoring five goals
If the Whites want to stay in the Premier League this season, defensive stability will be key to their survival.
Struijk has Premier League experience now and is a better player than he was last time Leeds were in the top-flight.
His leadership and his partnership with Rodon may just be the difference in Leeds staying up this season.
