Norwich in danger as Leeds United ready Jonathan Rowe transfer at Elland Road

Norwich City are in big danger of losing Jonathan Rowe to Leeds United before 30 August, according to Darren Witcoop.

The journalist has reported (5 August) that a £7 million bid is in place, with the winger also liked by Premier League side Wolves.

It comes after talks were opened between the two clubs for Rowe, who could be on his way to Elland Road (John Percy, 5 August).

Leeds United want Jonathan Rowe transfer now

As expected, things are really starting to ramp up for Leeds United in the transfer window.

Daniel Farke has clearly acknowledged their recent departures, and he knows that he needs to act fast, with a few weeks left to make things happen but fans will be reassured that he’s moving at this kind of speed.

When it comes to Rowe, this could be a really interesting step forward for Leeds.

The 21-year-old is young, hungry and knows that a move to Yorkshire brings greater hopes of promotion. He scored 12 goals and managed two assists in just 32 games last season (FBref), which are the kind of numbers you want to see.

Nobody is pretending like Crysencio Summerville’s exit isn’t a big deal. It could wind up proving to be one of the big stories of the entire campaign. With that being said, Farke knows he has a strong squad.

He also knows that a few additions such as this one can really transform them in the final third.

In other Leeds United, Georginio Rutter impressed as “impudent” footage emerged against Valencia.
