Noah Okafor's agent bigs up his player as Leeds United transfer rumours pick up pace
Leeds United’s reported interest in RB Salzburg’s Noah Okafor has started to pick up pace with the player’s agent Gianluca Di Domenico speaking highly of the talented forward.
The 22-year-old has become one of Europe’s hottest properties and a move to a big European club seems to be on the cards for the youngster.
Calciomercato reported on 9 September that Leeds, Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund are keen on signing him.
Di Domenico admitted that Okafor is one of the “most interesting Swiss players” after the forwards terrific UEFA Champions League outings against AC Milan and Chelsea.
Speaking to Radio CRC via Leeds Live, Di Domenico spoke highly of the RB Salzburg talent intermating the future is indeed very bright for the youngster.
“He is one of the most interesting Swiss players. He was also decisive with the National team at the Olimpico,” said Di Domenico.
“Anyone who has seen the match against Milan has certainly noticed his characteristics.”
Okafor is a special talent and the fact Leeds are being linked with him highlights how good the club’s recruiting system has become in recent years.
Whilst it may be a tough ask to sign the forward, his rumoured £30million price tag is an absolute steal and well within the realms of what the Leeds hierarchy can compete with.
The 22-year-old’s style of play should also be considered when making a move; he’s perfectly suited for the quick, aggressive and physical Premier League.
With pace in abundance and a cool, calm passing range to match, it’s hard to look past Okafor settling quickly into life in the English top-flight.
