Next Liverpool manager Arne Slot ‘wild’ about Leeds United star Crysencio Summerville

Soon-to-be-appointed Liverpool manager Arne Slot is “wild” about Leeds United star Crysencio Summerville, according to 1908.

Feyenoord boss Slot is set to replace Jurgen Klopp as manager at Anfield this summer, with the two clubs agreeing compensation on Friday 26 April (Fabrizio Romano).

1908, a Dutch news outlet who specialise in Feyenoord, did a talk with Liverpool fan channel Anfield Sector after the news broke and while discussing potential transfer plans for the summer they revealed that Elland Road star Summerville is someone that Slot is “wild” about.

Leeds United face battle to keep Crysencio Summerville

The summer transfer window at Elland Road is going to be a bit mental, because Daniel Farke will have ideas on what he wants the squad to look like when it’s all over.

But a lot of the business will be dependant on which division the team is playing in, and which clubs are coming in for the players they want to keep.

However, after the 4-0 defeat to QPR it seems highly unlikely now that the team will be able to secure automatic promotion and that will hugely affect the chances of the team being able to keep their best players.

There has been speculation about the future of Mohammed Salah at Anfield, and if he is to leave then that could genuinely open the door for a potential transfer for Summerville.

If Slot is crazy about him and is to have a say in transfers this summer, then Leeds could well be in trouble despite the hopes of tying the 22-year-old to a brand new contract.
