Milinkovic-Savic ‘set for transfer’ as Leeds United make contact
Leeds United are reportedly ramping up their pursuit of Torino goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic in the last few hours.
Given Illan Meslier’s struggles in goals, the Whites are hell-bent on signing a new number one ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
With Leeds among the favourites for relegation, the arrival of a quality shot stopper will help them avoid the drop.

Torino contacted over Milinkovic-Savic sale
Leeds have been linked with Milinkovic-Savic, who’s also on the radar of Napoli, among other clubs.
However, the Whites have formalised their interest in the 28-year-old goalkeeper.

They enquired about his availability with a summer move on the cards.
While Napoli are also keen on signing Milinkovic-Savic, they are yet to make a move to bring him to Naples.

Leeds United have to sign Milinkovic-Savic ahead of Napoli
Signing the Serbian is undoubtedly going to be a challenge for Leeds United.
While they could offer decent wages and Premier League football, their top flight status is not guaranteed.
The last six sides to get promoted have been relegated the following season, making it a tricky first season in the English top flight.
Also, Napoli can offer him Champions League football and the chance to challenge for silverware.
He also may fancy staying in Italy, so that would be a sensible move for him.
However, if he does want a better platform to showcase his ability, then moving to England is what he needs to do.
The 49ers can offer him impressive wages with a decent bonus for clean sheets and avoiding relegation in order to sweeten the deal.
The Elland Road faithful will welcome the 28-year-old with open arms and it remains to be seen if the hierarchy can pull this one off.
