Leeds United will reportedly have to make former Aston Villa coach Michael Beale a tempting offer to leave QPR and move to Elland Road.

According to the I on 29 October, the Whites would have to do something that Wolves failed to do while trying to lure the Englishman away from Loftus Road.

Beale made headlines when he turned down a move to the Premier League, despite being in management for less than 20 games.

Leeds United

Too soon for him

Beale does seem like someone with the pedigree of being a successful manager in the future, but the Leeds job may be too big too soon for him.

He needs to grind it out for a few more years and prove that he can deal with adversity before being a good contender for this role.

In Marcelo Bielsa, the Whites went for someone vastly experienced with a defined style of play who would instantly command the respect of the dressing room.

The same cannot be said about Beale who is not used to being put in such a high-pressure environment with the expectations at QPR being lower.

Leeds must ideally go for someone like Marcelo Gallardo who's set to leave River Plate in December and he can take over during the World Cup break.

It would give him a good three weeks to get used to the environment and for the players to adapt to his ways and the side will be refreshed on the side of the break going into the January transfer window.
