Melvin Bard whereabouts revealed as Leeds United close in on late transfer with medical
Melvin Bard is quickly heading towards Leeds United ahead of the transfer deadline.
Leeds have agreed a loan-to-buy deal for Bard ahead of the 11pm deadline, with the need for signings critical.
The left-back will arrive at Elland Road with Joe Rodon injured and Gabriel Gudmundsson only just returning from a hamstring issue.
Daniel Farke and the 49ers have moved quickly to solve the issue, with Bard ticking all of their boxes, it seems.
Having ironed out a deal overnight, this one should get done well ahead of the deadline on Tuesday evening.

Where is Melvin Bard now?
With a short flight to England from France ahead, things are now moving very quickly towards completion.
Mike McGrath has reported that Bard is en route to Leeds at this very second, with a medical to be completed.
With the deal all agreed, the Telegraph journalist states he will add much-needed competition and depth to Farke's defence.
It's said that the loan-to-buy will cost Leeds just above £5million in total, if the 25-year-old joins permanently next summer.
Where does Melvin Bard fit?
Let's assume the entirety of Leeds' defence is fully fit.
Gudmundsson would start on the left, with Jayden Bogle on the right.
In the middle would be Rodon, Jaka Bijol and Tarik Muharemovic, who has been sensational since signing earlier this summer.
Now, James Justin can cover the right and centrally, Nico Elvedi is in the middle, with Bard now on the left.
Three should be enough, but Farke will hope that Rodon's current injury isn't too bad, or another blow in that area could be critical.
Bard is desperately needed, so it's great to see Leeds move so swiftly at the end of a transfer window.
That hasn't been the case for years, but when the need is urgent, they've got their work almost done.
Bard will be in town imminently, let's hope that goes smoothly.
