Medical booked as Noah Okafor makes full new contract commitment to Leeds United
Leeds United have been in talks with AC Milan over a deal for Noah Okafor, and there has now been a major breakthrough.
The Whites have been aiming to strengthen their attacking ranks, and Okafor was targeted after Leeds failed with moves for Igor Paixao and Rodrigo Muniz.
Leeds recorded a 1-0 victory in their opening game of the season against Everton on Monday, but despite their dominance, it took a controversial Lukas Nmecha penalty.
Okafor has been targeted after falling down the pecking order at Milan, who were willing to sell the 25-year-old, and a deal has now been agreed.

Okafor medical booked for Wednesday
Leeds and Milan were engaged in talks in recent days, and a full agreement has now been reached to bring Okafor to Elland Road.
Florian Plettenberg has now reported that a deal for over £17million has been agreed, and that Okafor will have his medical on Wednesday, August 20.
- Okafor managed just seven games in 54 games for Milan.
- However, his best form came at RB Salzburg, with 57 goals and assists in 110 games.
- The Switzerland international can play anywhere across the front four.
Okafor has given his “full commitment” to Leeds and will sign a four-year contract taking him to 2029, with a one-year optional extension clause in the deal.
The attacker is said to have spoken to Daniel Farke over the phone, who convinced him to join, and he will travel to Leeds for his medical within the next 24 hours.
Where will Okafor play for Leeds?
Leeds now have extra numbers in attack, with Okafor capable of providing depth in every single attacking position, and there will be more pressure on the current options to deliver.
His best position is the left wing, which is currently occupied by Willy Gnonto, but Okafor also has the height to replace Joel Piroe upfront.
Piroe was disappointing against Everton, and the arrival of Dominic Calvert-Lewin could also limit his minutes despite impressing last season.
