Max Aarons development emerges as Leeds United to hold transfer talks
Leeds United will likely resume talks with Bournemouth over potentially signing Max Aarons ahead of the transfer deadline, according to TEAMtalk.
The news outlet reported on 29 August that the Cherries are open to discussing a deal and want 15m for a permanent sale, something Leeds cannot pay.
However, the Whites will be looking to sign the 24-year-old right-back on loan if Bournemouth cannot find a bidder for the Englishman.
Max Aarons’ arrival will give Leeds United a better shot at promotion
Aarons has made 90 appearances in the Premier League and is still only 24, so definitely has his best years ahead of him.
While Leeds are not looking to sign him permanently, his arrival on loan could see their promotion chances sky-rocket and if they do get back into the top flight, they will then be able to afford his services.
The English defender is someone who’s had admirers at Elland Road for a long time so it makes sense to explore this deal.
Jayden Bogle has struggled in recent games and it’s evident that Leeds need the best or one of the best players in the Championship in most positions if they are to realistically get promoted.
Aarons would arguably be the best right-back in the second tier and Daniel Farke could get the best out of the defender he worked with at Norwich City.

Their past relationship may come in handy which could help convince the right-back to move to Elland Road for this season.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites are now favourites to secure the transfer of a defender who’s set his sights on an England move.
