Manor Solomon transfer: Leeds United move wanted as £20m twist emerges

Manor Solomon is involved in a Leeds United transfer twist as Daniel Farke wants the Tottenham forward to stay at Elland Road.

The 25-year-old signed for the Whites on loan from the North London outfit last summer and has established himself as a key player under the German manager.

Farke is eyeing Premier League promotion, and the Spurs loanee has played an essential role in maintaining those hopes so far.

While the Elland Road faithful would also like to see Solomon stay, it remains to be seen whether the West Yorkshire outfit will be able to match Tottenham’s asking price.

Farke to push for Solomon transfer at Elland Road

It wouldn’t be surprising to see Farke push for the Spurs star’s move at the Whites in the upcoming transfer window.

The 25-year-old created the opening goal against Millwall at Elland Road on Wednesday (12 March) as the Peacocks won 2-0.

It was the forward’s ball into the opposition box that forced an own goal from Jake Cooper in the third minute before Ao Tanaka sealed the victory with his late strike.

The West Yorkshire outfit retained their place at the top of the table after beating Alex Neil’s team as the race for automatic promotion heats up.

Sheffield United are two points behind the Peacocks, while Burnley are also within touching distance of first place in the Championship.

The Whites will need to be at their best until the end of the season to seal a return to the Premier League, and Solomon will undoubtedly play a big part in that.

While the 25-year-old had a hard time at Tottenham, his performances at the West Yorkshire outfit have been encouraging.

It would make sense for the Peacocks to pursue a permanent deal for the winger after his goal contributions this season.
