Luis Sinisterra informs Leeds United he wants offers to be considered amid £22m exit development
Luis Sinisterra has informed Leeds United that he would like offers for him to be heard, while the club demands £22million for the Colombian, according to Pipe Sierra.
The Colombian journalist, who works for Win Sports TV, tweeted (16 August) that as the winger trains alone from the rest of the Leeds squad, his agents are in dialogue with the club.
Sierra claims that Leeds does not feel the need to sell Sinisterra, whose contract runs until 2027 following his £21million move from Feyenoord.
Another wantaway
Leeds’ biggest issue so far this transfer window has been keeping their valuable assets. While many departures were expected, the likes of Rodrigo and Marc Roca left the club early in the window, making planning the season without them easier.
Now, they battle to keep stars after the season has already commenced. Willy Gnonto’s efforts to force a move have resulted in his removal from first-team training, and Sinisterra now suffers the same self-inflicted fate.
Sinisterra is regarded as a high-potential young player, having won the Europa Conference League Young Player of the Year award during Feyenoord’s campaign in 2021/22, so it is clear why he may want to play in a higher league than the Championship.

However, Leeds have every right to want to keep the forward who has already shown his ability in the second division after his late equaliser against Cardiff City on the opening day.
But it looks like his move is only a matter of time. Daniel Farke confirmed that Sinisterra was training alone and will not be available for selection for their upcoming clash against West Brom, while 1908 reported (15 August) that multiple clubs were interested.
Time will tell for Sinisterra, but his intentions are very clear.
