Leeds United have increased their chances of survival by signing Perri

Leeds United signing Perri significantly bolsters their chances of avoiding relegation in the 2025/26 Premier League season.

The 27-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper brings proven quality, having kept 10 clean sheets in 33 Ligue 1 matches and outperforming expected goals conceded by 3.8.

His 74.7% save ratio and strong distribution skills address the vulnerabilities exposed by Meslier’s error-prone performances last season.

Perri’s 6ft 5in frame and reflexes strengthen Leeds’ defence, crucial for surviving the Premier League’s intensity.

With Daniel Farke prioritising a reliable goalkeeper, Perri’s experience and composure provide stability, enhancing Leeds’ defensive resilience and confidence, which is key to securing their top-flight status.
