Lucas Perri eyed for shock late swoop in Leeds United transfer latest
Lucas Perri is attracting interest away from Leeds United in the final days of the winter transfer window.
The Brazilian shot-stopper was signed by the Whites last summer from Olympique Lyon for around £15.6million, but he’s had some difficulties in recent weeks.
Perri has lost his starting spot at Elland Road after a series of consistent, high-profile errors, which will certainly be a concern for 49ers Enterprises after their recent investment in him.
Daniel Farke has relied on Karl Darlow, with the Wales international coming back into the team after playing a role towards the end of last season, and he may have an even better chance of holding down the number one spot for the foreseeable future.

Besiktas target Leeds United goalkeeper Lucas Perri
Perri has emerged as a target for Besiktas as the club from Turkiye searches for a new goalkeeper, according to Ertan Suzgun.
The Yeni Acik journalist revealed on 30 January that the 28-year-old is now on the Super Lig side’s shortlist, giving the shot-stopper an avenue to leave Elland Road.
It’s been claimed that the Brazil national is on Besiktas’ agenda, but it remains to be seen whether they’ll make a formal offer for him in the coming hours.
The transfer window in Turkiye is open until 6 February, as opposed to the 2 February deadline for clubs in England, giving them ample opportunity to negotiate for Perri.
Illan Meslier is still at Elland Road, and a possible move to Valencia reportedly stalled at the start of January.
The coming hours could present a curveball in LS11, and the West Yorkshire outfit’s fans may be in for a surprise or two.
Daniel Farke has already laid foundation for Lucas Perri exit
Farke has been open to keeping Meslier at Leeds despite the French goalkeeper being effectively the third choice this season.
It feels like the German manager’s insistence on keeping the former Lorient ace could potentially leave the door open for Perri’s exit.

If the Brazil national leaves, the West Yorkshire outfit have Meslier as a backup to cover for Darlow, who seems to be the first-choice goalkeeper for now.
There will surely be plenty of developments at Elland Road before Deadline Day, and the situation with Perri will be one to watch closely.
