‘Let’s go’ – Player posts image of himself on plane as Leeds close on yet another signing

Leeds United announced the signing of Spain international Rodrigo on Saturday and it looks like they could be announcing yet another international signing shortly.

Freiburg centre-back Robin Koch posted an Instagram story that shows him on a plane and he added the caption, “Let’s go”.

Koch posted the story at 9am on Saturday morning at the same time as the Rodrigo announcement was made.

Mirror journalist David Anderson had said he was heading for a medical on Saturday after saying his goodbyes to his Freiburg teammates.

Good times for Leeds

What a Saturday this is turning into for Leeds United fans.

First Rodrigo and now Koch, and with the centre-back heading into Elland Road for a medical, it looks like his signing could be tied up as early as next week.

That would see the two biggest concerns of this transfer window addressed – a new striker and a new centre-back.

Leeds fans had been complaining the club wasn’t moving fast enough but business is only just starting to happen around the Premier League.

With two weeks to go before the first game and given that the transfer window is open until October and the extra hassles brought about by the Coronavirus outbreak, we think Leeds have acted swiftly and decisively.

It’s really good to see and all fans are on board with the two major signings.

As the saying goes, what a time to be alive.
