Leicester to sign want Leeds loanee Manor Solomon as loan-to-buy news emerges
Leicester City have registered an interest in Leeds United loanee Manor Solomon.
The Israel international has had a superb campaign at Elland Road since joining on a season-long loan from Tottenham earlier in the summer.
This has seen the 25-year-old net seven goals and assist seven in the second tier, helping the Whites to the top of the Championship table with 12 games to go.
As a result, it is little surprise that Premier League sides are showing an interest in his signature but a move to Leicester could be set to hinge on one large factor.

Leicester City must avoid relegation to sign Solomon
It is likely that Daniel Farke will be keen on bringing the winger in if promotion is secured at the end of the season.
A change in division does look likely after a late win against Sheffield United on Monday (24 February) where the Spurs loan star featured for 83 minutes.
If that is to be the case then the Whites have a decision to make at the end of the campaign whether to sign Solomon on a permanent basis.
Journalist Ben Jacobs has revealed to GiveMeSport (26 February) that Everton and Leicester City could step in but a move to the Foxes could rely on their Premier League status.
He said: “I’m taking a little look, as we discussed with Fabrizio [Romano], at Manor Solomon and his future because he’s doing very well at Leeds and Fabrizio is right to point out that Leeds would like to keep him but by the same token there is no option to buy there.
“There are other Premier League clubs interested. Everton have discussed him internally, Leicester City if they can somehow stay in the Premier League are another one to watch.”
Leeds United must step up efforts to sign Solomon permanently
It has been seen with Ipswich Town, Leicester and Southampton this season that surviving in the big league is not an easy task.
There is plenty of evidence to suggest that keeping a winning squad together can only prove to be a positive thing as opposed to breaking the bank for a new squad.
Farke has certainly found a winning formula at Elland Road and there is no doubt that Solomon is playing a major part in that.
Stat | Manor Solomon |
Goals | 7 |
Assists | 7 |
Successful dribbles | 49 |
Tackles won | 18 |
The Israeli ace has contributed with so many important goals and assists while also being a favourite with fans and his teammates and that will only boosted by a rise to the Premier League.
A move to the King Power would be a blow to the Whites and they will have to assess different options in case of this sort of transfer miss.
