Leeds United want to sign Wales striker Kieffer Moore as Bournemouth make January transfer decision
Leeds United are one of a number of Championship clubs interested in signing Kieffer Moore from Bournemouth, according to Tom Barclay.
The journalist reported for The Sun [3 January] that Bournemouth are open to letting the Wales international leave in the January transfer window, putting plenty of teams on alert.
Cardiff City, who sold Moore to Bournemouth two years ago, are said to be pushing hardest to land the striker’s signature, but Ipswich Town, West Brom, Birmingham City, Sunderland and Leeds may also consider an approach.

Barclay adds that Middlesbrough are also showing a tentative interest in Moore, who is said to be on wages of £40,000 a week, which could make a loan switch more likely.
Strong competition
Bringing in a player with experience of scoring in the Championship and at international level would be a massive coup for Leeds.
Moore may not have established himself in the Premier League, but he scored 20 goals for Cardiff in the second tier a few seasons ago.
A loan deal would make sense as it means Moore can try to work his way back into form, while giving clubs a realistic chance of landing him. However, a permanent move seems a lot more unlikely.

Bournemouth are owned by billionaire Bill Foley, but they clearly still want to be smart with their transfer business and getting Moore off their books this month seems a priority.
The fact that so many Championship teams are in for him is not surprising, and it would mean Leeds have to see off some strong competition if they are indeed interested.
Daniel Farke already has plenty of top-class attackers, but Moore may yet be the man who helps propel United’s automatic promotion prospects.
In other Leeds United news, talkSPORT host Andy Goldstein named the Whites after being asked a string of “ridiculous” questions live on air.
