Leeds United want two more transfers after Manor Solomon deal
Leeds United are hunting two primary targets after Manor Solomon is unveiled, according to the Daily Mirror.
On page 49 of its print edition on 27 August, it was reported by David Anderson that following the announcement of a loan deal for Solomon from Tottenham Hotspur, Daniel Farke is hunting Burnley’s Manuel Benson, and Bournemouth’s Max Aarons.
Leeds are eager to boost vital numbers in their squad after raising over £110m in player sales this summer, with Solomon expected to become just the 21st first-team player in the building.
Leeds United busy in final week of the transfer window
Leeds United are very active in the market in the final few days of the window, and they have to be.
Solomon’s season-long loan move – which is expected to be completed on Tuesday following late interest from elsewhere [David Ornstein, 26 August] – would make the 25-year-old the club’s sixth senior signing of the summer.
The last week or two before the deadline tends to be when clubs finalise shaping their squads, leaving players available when they would not have been before the season kicked off – this could allow Farke to swoop in for Aarons from Bournemouth [Graham Smyth, 26 August].

Benson, meanwhile, has been attracting interest from many Championship clubs who will be competing for promotion this season, and is anticipated to leave Burnley this week.
Do not be surprised to see Leeds make offers for further arrivals, even if they are to secure all three of their primary options.
In other Leeds news, the club want an experienced Premier League striker who his club are eager to sell.
