Leeds United want to sign two new attackers before end of transfer window
Leeds United are interested in bringing in two new attackers before the end of the transfer window, according to Alan Nixon.
In response to fans on his Patreon page (8 August), Nixon indicates that he still believes Leeds will be aiming to bring in two new attacking players by 30 August.
It came in response to a question that Nixon was asked on an article in which he wrote that Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi is likely heading to Sheffield United on loan despite Daniel Farke’s men still being in the hunt just a few days ago (Alax Nixon, 4 August).
Leeds United speed things up
When you lose the likes of Crysencio Summerville and Archie Gray, the tone of your squad is bound to change. Instead of resting on what you’ve got, though, Farke seemingly plans on going on the attack. He wants to ensure his team is in the best possible position for the start of the campaign, showcasing just how hungry they are for promotion.

One of their big targets recently has been Jonathan Rowe. It certainly feels like the club are really interested in making a big play, which ticks off one of the two names on the list. In terms of the other, it really comes down to what kind of player they go for.
Leeds United have built their identity on scoring goals. Alas, when you lose the flair of someone like Summerville, it goes without saying that you need replacements. A window like this is always going to require proactivity and with the deadline being just a few weeks away, the boys from Yorkshire aren’t slowing down. If anything, they’re speeding up.
In other Leeds news, the Whites may look to repeat their Crysencio Summerville trick with a new transfer this summer.
