Leeds United want to sign Kenedy from Chelsea this summer
Leeds United are interested in signing Chelsea flop Kenedy this summer as he enters the final 12 months of his deal, according to the Daily Mail.
Brazilian Kenedy was recalled to Stamford Bridge during the January transfer window after Ben Chilwell’s knee injury, but barely featured under Thomas Tuchel.
But the 26-year-old impressed on the final day of the season with a good performance and a fresh report claims that Leeds could be incentivised to make a move after seeing what he can do.

The Whites look set to lose Raphinha this summer to Barcelona in a mega-money move, but have just completed the signing of Brenden Aaronson from RB Salzburg.
However added depth to their wide positions could be key to avoid another relegation scrap and Kenedy would be a fairly cheap option to offer them that.
Gamble
Kenedy was a top talent when he joined Chelsea as a teenager, but several loans later and whether he’s progressed or not is an unknown because he’s barely played.
His most recent Premier League loan came at Newcastle and he did fairly well, but he’s never really been afforded a long spell in the starting lineup in his favoured winger position anywhere.

Leeds could potentially offer him that as Jesse Marsch looks to build a squad in his own image, and the pace and directness of Kenedy could be exactly what he needs.
If they can secure the deal cheaply and the player is willing to offer everything he has to the cause then it could be a masterstroke, but he could very well continue on his trajectory of making no impact anywhere he goes.
That would be a waste of a squad spot and wouldn’t help the club if they needed to fight once more, but if the manager wants him in the squad then the board should look to make it happen.
