Leeds United want to sign Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi on loan
Leeds United want to sign Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi on a season-long loan this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
Writing on their website (19 July), the news outlet report that Premier League new-boys Southampton have already seen two bids rejected for the England Under-20 international.
Palace are unwilling to send the attacker to a Premier League rival this summer and the Whites are keen to sign him, but face competition from Sheffield United and Sunderland for his signature with the hope he could make a similar impact to what Omari Richardson did for Ipswich last season.
Leeds United to bolster the Elland Road attack
Daniel Farke had a team that scored a lot of goals last season, but they missed a spark towards the end of the season and it eventually saw them miss out on Premier League football.
This summer lots of exits are expected from the club, with key attackers like Crysencio Summerville [Athletic, 27 May] and Wilfried Gnonto [talkSPORT, 16 July] tipped for an exit and that means new additions are necessary.
Daniel James looks set to stay on one wing, however, the left-wing role could be open with Gnonto and Summerville leaving and Jaidon Anthony’s loan ending, so Rak-Sakyi could be a perfect addition.

He is still raw after limited top-flight football in his career, but so was Hutchison at Ipswich last season and his performances were enough to get the team to automatic promotion.
Farke knows that he needs additions and a loan deal is low-risk but could also prove to be very useful, just like Joe Rodon was last year, and this could be a shrewd bit of business.
