Leeds United want perfect Nico Raskin transfer as lucrative offer on cards

Leeds United have identified Rangers midfielder Nico Raskin as a transfer target after Premier League promotion.

The Whites celebrated their Championship title win at Elland Road with a bus parade that saw a significant fan turnout.

Now, 49ers Enterprises must reinforce Daniel Farke’s team in the upcoming transfer window to prevent the West Yorkshire outfit from being relegated immediately.

The Peacocks already seem to be preparing for their next season in the English top flight and have their sights set on one of the Scottish Premiership’s hottest prospects.

Raskin wanted to strengthen Leeds United squad in Premier League

Rangers midfielder Raskin is wanted by the Elland Road hierarchy in the upcoming transfer window, according to TEAMtalk.

The news outlet reports (7 May) that the Whites see the Belgium international as the perfect signing to reinforce their squad after returning to the Premier League.

It’s been claimed that the West Yorkshire outfit have the financial means to make a lucrative offer to tempt the 24-year-old to LS11 soon.

The Scottish Premiership outfit aren’t keen on selling Raskin, though, and it remains to be seen what the future holds for him.

49ers need to invest in quality players at Elland Road

With Farke backed by Paraag Marathe to continue at the Whites next season, there needs to be a massive effort from the 49ers to bolster the squad.

The German manager needs to have the necessary tools to survive immediate relegation from the Premier League next season.

Southampton, Leicester City and Ipswich Town have shown how difficult it has become for newly promoted teams to avoid returning to the Championship.

Leeds should replace Illan Meslier after Farke dropped him from the starting lineup in the season’s final stretch.

The Whites also arguably need to bolster their defensive line, with Joe Rodon, Pascal Struijk and Ethan Ampadu not enough to compete in the top flight.

In the middle of the park, the West Yorkshire outfit would do well to retain Joe Rothwell’s services and add another body to replace Josuha Guilavogui.

Joel Piroe has been impressive, but undoubtedly will need help in the Premier League.

The 49ers could potentially have a huge squad overhaul on their hands soon.
